It
was founded in 1852 by Count Andrea Piovene
and it displays the fossils which were found
in the Chiavon stream that year by the geologist
Achille de Zigno. The Chiavon is the stream
that flow in Breganze. The last restoration
of the museum dates back to 2006 and was done
by the Association ProLugo and three young
volunteers, directed by a professor of the
University in Padua.
"Man, you are wandering among these
walls that enclose three thousand millenniums
of History of the World. Think that the whole
history of mankind, from the beginning until
today, is just the history of one day and
your own life is just a moment, an instant
of the never ending"
